Too Windy! Too Bright! - Fairhaven

I started off at the scrub behind the dunes and had a look over the pumping station. Nothing to note apart from the usual Greenfinch calling from the trees alongside the carpark and a female Linnet.  No sign of any Wheatear in this area or on the dunes just a solitary Meadow Pipit.
The wind was very strong and was picking the sand up, also the light was blinding making a proper look out across the bay very difficult.  I sheltered behind the wall that cuts in to give way to the steps and managed to see small numbers of of Ringed Plover, Sanderling and Dunlin (C50 of each).  There was also 1 Knot.
Call me a wuss but the wind and light were doing my head in so called it a day and headed off but not before getting a shot of a Lesser Black-backed Gull.
